Everything Old is New Again

It seems that moving causes you to come face to face with all the little house projects you swore you would get around to doing and just never did.  I was thinking today that each time we have moved, we make the house look so great that I don't want to leave.  In addition to getting the house ready, I like to do a little "staging."  John thinks it is my excuse to go buy new things.  He's right but Shhhh, don't tell him I said so.

The two rooms in our house that had never been painted were our master bedroom and bath.  We needed to stay neutral, so we picked a soft silver gray paint and then I got to accessorize.

While I was taking these photos, I realized how much I am going to miss the view from my bedroom.  Even on a hazy day, the view from our master bedroom, makes me smile.

The view from my window seems to always bring me a sense of peace.  I hope that I will find a peaceful view in our new house.
